Meta-owned WhatsApp has rolled out a significant update to its typing and voice recording indicators, aiming to provide a more immersive and user-friendly chat experience. This new feature, currently available to select beta testers, integrates real-time activity feedback directly into the chat interface, addressing user feedback for a more seamless communication experience. Typing Indicator Redesigned Traditionally, WhatsApp’s typing indicator appeared at the top of the screen, just below the chat header. This layout often disrupted the natural flow of conversations, particularly in group chats, by requiring users to glance away from the chat window.
